Producers Receive USDA Funding

Three Winneshiek County ag producers will be receiving funds from the
USDA Office of Rural Development. The funding is part of the Renewable
Energy and Energy Efficiency program through a 50% grant and 50% loan.
Local producers receiving the funding to replace old grain dryers with
new, more efficient continuous flow grain dryers are: Dean Elsbernd of
Calmar, Loren Kriener of Ft. Atkinson and Delbert Smith of Decorah.
