Man Selected for Olympic Cycling Team

Jason McCartney, 34 of Coralville has been chosen as a member of the
U.S. Olympic cycling team. The five-member team will compete in the
bicycling road race at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China in August.
McCartney, who was recently denied the opportunity to ride in this
year's Tour de France, also represented the United States on the team
at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.
