Frugal Living Series Offered at NICC Waukon Center

"Frugal Living - The Series" classes are being offered at the Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) Waukon Center. In these economic times, living on less isn't just an option, for most it is a necessity. This series of three classes will help anyone discover how to live on less and still enjoy the things that are important.

Participants who enroll in the series should save their receipts from one month of purchases and bring them to class. The instructor will share ways to save money by looking at the purchases. The classes listed all meet from 5:30 - 7 p.m. in Room 115.

March 15: Household budget going down the drain? Cut costs AND learn to make your own laundry soap.
March 22: Are your food costs over the top? Learn about "plan-overs" and how to make your own convenience food items.
March 29: Are your children "nickel and dime-ing" you to death? Learn how to save on holidays, entertainment, birthday parties and more!
